Welcome to my page!!! I am a mother, army wife, full time maid, soccer mom and am now finding my nitch in the world of cake baking and decorating. I have always loved to bake and am a serious chocoholic but never truely knew my extreme passion until I made my first custom cake. My husband is in the Army and once we became stationed in Germany there was only one place to get a cool birthday cake for my kids and that was the commissary. The cakes may look fantastic but taste terrible, cost a fortune and you are limited to only what's in "the book". For my daughter's 6th birthday we did a pirate theme and well there is nothing in that fancy book of thier's for that so I decided to give it a go. I made my first 3D cake which was a pirate ship out on the water using a pirate lego set to complete the look. I was so proud and excited and it tasted so good that I then did some 3D dinosaurs and a volcano for my son's 2nd birthday. They also came out pretty amazing and that's when I started dreaming up the possibilities of what I could create with my own hands. My third cake was the following year for my daughters 7th birthday and it was my first time making and using fondant. Cake was cute but there was alot I learned from it but that's when I knew this is what I'm made to do. I have now been making cakes for 7 months for friends and friends of friends and have currently filled over 50 custom orders. My dream is that once we get back state side I can build a true business and continue to learn more everyday.
